Strengthening youth initiative groups from Transnistrian region

Promo-LEX Association, with the financial support of the Royal Netherlands Embassy in Kiev through the MatraKAP Program, announces the selection of participants for the Project Strengthening youth initiative groups from Transnistrian region.

This project aims to develop leadership skills and abilities to youth form the Transnistrian region.
Project objectives: to encourage youth civic participation; to promote civic education among youth; to facilitate youth networking innitiatives.

Project action plan primarily focuses on the information and training of the participants in order to enhance skills of active involvement and civic participation of young people.

When? Where?
Within this project it is planned to organize 3 training activities on different topics and a simulation game.
The third training “Communication and Conflict resolution” will take place on February 21-22, 2009. Deadline for application for training “Communication and Conflict resolution” – February 17, 2009.

All costs related to participation will be covered by the organizers.

Participants must be motivated to get involved and realize new ideas and initiatives in their community. Participants preferred age: 16-20 years, residents of Transnistrian region.

Promo-LEX Association organizes the training course

Training course “Project Management” is a part of the RDCT training program, which aims to foster the growth of the transnistrian region non-governmental sector. The course objective is to provide theoretical support and to improve participants’ skills needed for a successful implementation of all project stages.

When: 7-8 February 2009
Where: Cocieri village, Dubasari district.
Who is eligible to participate: representatives of NGOs and initiative groups from the transnistrian region.

Benefits of the training course:

  • participants will understand the concept of project management;
  • participants will be able to apply project management principles in their activities;
  • participants will be able to conduct needs assessment and set project objectives;
  • participants will be able to plan and control project resources: human, financial, administrative;
  • participants will be able to motivate organization’ staff;
  • participants will be able to identify and set project manager and team members responsibilities;
  • participants will be able to evaluate project results;
  • participants will be able to conduct risk management.

All costs related to participation at the training (travel, meals, accommodation) will be covered by the organizers.
Working language of the seminar: Russian.
