Seminar “Be Active! Make a Change! – Training on Active Participation”

Promo-LEX announces the selection of participants for the seminar “Be Active! Make a Change! – Training on Active Participation”, a seminar within Youth in Action Programme.

The Training Course “Be Active! Make a Change! – Training on Active Participation” will be organized for youth workers to improve the skills and raise knowledge about active participation, empowerment and involvement of young people as well as about the establishment of local self-initiatives.

Objectives:

  • To improve knowledge and skills of youth workers in setting up local youth projects
  • To improve knowledge of youth workers about the concept of civil society and
  • active participation
  • To bring together organisations working with young people in order to create new project ideas within the Youth in Action programme (Action 3.1)
  • To establish new partnerships for cross country cooperation between organisations active in local community development
  • To promote Eastern Europe and Caucasus region among participants from programme countries

Content:

  • Concept of civil society and democracy
  • Active participation and democratic education
  • European Charter on Youth Participation on local and regional level
  • Developing project ideas for local initiatives

Working language: English

Project participants:
• young people aged between 18-30 years;
• with an interest in the seminar topic;
• compulsory knowledge of English;

Costs:
70% from the travel costs of travel will be reimbursed;
Maximum 190 Euro from the total amount of travel expenses will be covered.
Accommodation and food is provided at 100% by organizers.
